What can I say about me? Well, first of all I have been married to the same wonderful man since December 22, 1981! We both have a real and personal relationship with the Lord, which has enabled us to work through all the junk in life and remain together and in love for over 30 years (including dating years). We have 3 beautiful children – 2 daughters who are in their 20′s and a son who is a senior in high school this year. We have an amazing and wonderful granddaughter who was born March 2, 2007 and we have a grandson on the way. My husband, Hershel, is senior pastor of Sonlight Church in Chesapeake, VA. I have the privilege of working with him every day as our church ministry assistant/secretary and I love my job. I enjoy ministry to the women of our church and singing on our praise team. In my free time, which is very little, I enjoy reading and keeping up with a scrapbook of my granddaughter’s life. God is continually teaching and growing me in many areas through variouis trials and experiences that He has allowed us to go through the past couple of years. Jesus is the main priority of my life and all I do is because of Him and for Him. That’s me.
